Western Medicine & Healing

In-Home Massage in Jupiter, Florida

Western medicine wants to cut you up into pieces. Fragment you by isolating the issue apart from the rest of the body and then give you a drug to ease the symptoms.

However, you are a whole person with fascia and blood and lymph that interconnects like a mycelial network and tells your unique story.

Even modalities like talk therapy keeps you spiraling in your head and doesn’t get to the heart of what is really causing the dysfunction — the dehydrated fascia, the mobility restrictions in the tissues, the structural abnormalities, and/or the energetic and emotional charge bottled up in certain areas of the body.

The body tells a story that sometimes feels like static to us.

We as a society have become numb disconnected and distracted. We have been conditioned to tune out and soothe with self-destructive behaviors.

We were told to be ashamed of pleasure.

To suppress our joy.

To stuff our anger.

To hold our grief tight to our chests.

And to stay confused and mystified by our bodies.

But the body has always here, waiting to speak. We just have to become better listeners, better space holders, better lovers to them and the full spectrum of ourselves.

Massage and bodywork is an opportunity to enter into dialogue with the body. To get close and feel the texture of the tissues, the emotions brewing and stuck, the life pulsating and processing through you.

It is an intentional space for you to be with sensation, numbness, emotion, pain, all of it — and expand your capacity to feel safe in your body.

Multidimensional and intuitive sessions with me are designed to meet you and your body where you are. To go at your pace and to sink deeper into the layers of yourself.

It is your time to honor the wholeness of your human experience and heal all the times it wasn't.

May you find a sense of wholeness and stillness this week as you feel into your body and your natural rhythms. I hope you are able to slow down this summer amongst the chaos and turn inward and say hello to your body and all the layers of you.

And maybe say hello on the table with me here
